Kimberly Hranicky is an interior designer and ex-sales director residing in Texas. She is an accomplished sales executive and has ample sales expertise having worked for Infogrames Inc. She is the owner of Kim Hranicky Interiors and a recipient of several awards, including Hastings Retailer Software Promotion of the Year and Hastings Retailer Software Trading Partner of the Year in 1998. Besides her accomplishments in the fields of design and marketing, Ms. Hranicky is also a philanthropist. She is sponsoring two children from Zambia through a program called Family Legacy Academy Child Sponsorship Program.
Family Legacy is an organization that works to help the less-privileged children in Zambia. Their goal is to provide care for these children in all possible ways. Their care packages include academic help, spiritual and physical care, and emotional support. Academic help can be provided by funding their tuition, whereas spiritual care includes bible studies and its application in their daily lives. These classes are given to these children free of cost through public sponsorship. They have counselors and therapists to help children with traumas and disorders, as their living conditions might have inflicted a lot upon them. This comes under emotional support. Lastly, physical care means providing for their food and medical needs.
This system allows people to look after all these needs of the children. The sponsorship program encourages people to take out a little time and capital for children who have not been able to pursue their true potential due to limited resources.
